Aconteceu no Twitter 40 - 24/10/10 a 30/10/10

No PDC, que aconteceu nessa semana nos EUA, aconteceram alguns anúncios, como a possibilidade de se utilizar o Team Foundation Server no Windows Azure e as novas funcionalidades para programação assíncrona no .NET Framework, mas nada causou tanto furor quanto a atenção excessiva ao suporte ao HTML 5 pelo Internet Explorer 9 e o suposto "fim" do Silverlight. A realidade não é bem essa. Na minha opinião, está ocorrendo um grande mal entendido quanto ao papel do Silverlight. Leiam os artigos abaixo e tirem suas conclusões. Outra dica é de um ebook gratuito da Microsoft Press, sobre o Windows Phone 7. Aliás, quem esteve presente fisicamente no PDC, ganhou de brinde um modelo de Windows Phone 7!
